The Objective

DC Shoes is an American shoe company that specializes in footwear for action sports, which includes skateboarding and snowboarding. They also manufacture clothing, accessories, and posters. The company was founded in 1932 by Colin McCay and Danny Way, and has been moved in recent years from Carlsbad, CA to Huntington Beach, CA.

Execution

Bigwig Monster Media created an experiential application that DC shoes could use at an event. It was an interactive slot machine that allowed interested users the chance to win prizes and learn more about DC Shoes. It was synced up to a national database, which allowed administrators to view statistics of who was playing and winning during the event, so they could update the sweepstakes via a custom content management system.
